Lighting Systems

A genuine fibre optic system with a powerful 10 watt LED light unit delivering dual spot lights via two goose neck fibre optic arms. The unit is shown here attached to its circular heavy duty base that provides excellent stability as a stand alone unit. However the unit comes complete with a simple adapter that will allow the power box and goose necks to be attached to the upright of most stereo pole stands. This allows the fibre feeds to be positioned to give optimal illumination for the specimen being examined without the support base ‘getting in the way’. The unit has an excellent fan cooling system and a rheostat brightness control.

An excellent double flexi arm light unit. This is not fibre optics but a bright LED unit attached to the end of each arm. At full rheostat control the light is comparable to a 100 watt fibre optic unit for a fraction of the price. Recommended

The Brunel LED Polarising 78 has 78 concentric LED's, powered by a stand alone transformer box with full brightness control. It has two polarising filters inbuilt, with the larger of the two being fully rotatable which means that the light coming back from the specimen can have any glare reduced in the same way as polaroid spectales work.

This is a particularly compact LED ring light that does not need an independent transformer unit. All the electronics are housed within the unit itself which simply plugs directly into the mains electricity supply. The ring light has 60 individual LED's arranged in two concentric rings. There is a toggle on/off switch with rheostat brightness control. Colour temperature 6000K. The Compact LED will clamp to the bottom of any stereohead with parallel sides up to a maximum diameter of 60mm. The unit will fit all the stereoheads in the Brunel range irrespective of their shape as appropriate adapters would be supplied.

This stand alone unit is ideal for providing transmitted illumination away from the more traditional light base stands of stereomicroscopes. Particularly recommended for our range of long arm stereomicroscopes. The unit consists of a circular light base with the light area measuring 90mm with a translucent surface that give a very even field illumination. Internal LED light source which is powered by a separate transformer box.
