The Eyecam Plus has a reducing lens built in so that the area seen through the eyepieces is the same as that seen by the camera. Fits any monocular, binocular and most trinocular tubes. Inserts for 30 and 30.5 mm stereomicroscope eyetubes also included. Software and cables included - Windows and MAC. Good frame rate so ideal for fast moving subjects and keeping up with movement.

Compact cameras can be almost impossible to use for two reasons. Firstly very few of them have any screw threads around the lens in order to attach an adapter and secondly (and crucially) the fact that the camera lens system is trying to see an image by looking through the microscope lens system means that in the majority of cases the result is usually distorted. For those who do not want the expense of buying an SLR or pancake camera, we have sourced a budget priced compact camera that is capable of providing both of these key requirements and adapted it to fit our eyepiece adapter Unilink that we have been selling successfully for many years. Of course the Unilink element can be removed easily and the unit used as a standard compact camera.

The phone is held in place by a spring loaded clamp - no screws

•The Phonelink has its own optical system base on our Unilink (which we have sold for many years) which incorporates a photoeyepiece specifically designed for camera imaging.

•The Phonelink will fit monocular, binocular and even trinocular microscopes both compound and stereomicroscope.
