Fluorescence Microscopes

SP-300F

SP-300F

Price: £3,245.00 (Excluding VAT at 20%)

The Brunel SP300F is a reflected light fluorescence microscope with the ability to be used additionally for transmitted bright field work. The instrument is equipped with high numerical aperture glycerine immersion objectives and planachromatic infinity bright field objectives. The microscope stand is particularly well engineered with a backward facing objective turret with a very positive objective indexing system. The incident fluorescent illumination is provided by a 100 watt high pressure lamp operated by a D.C. Power supply with separate on/off switch and push start buttons and warning lamp. The full emission of the vapour lamp is achieved after approximately 10 minutes. Adapters are available to mount a CoolLED unit as an alternative to the Hg arc lamp. The incident light path has an iris diaphragm and sliding aperture plate with blanking and frosted filter options. The ultra violet, blue and green and orange exciting filters are situated within the carousel which allows each to be rotated into the optical path. The SP300F comes complete with infinity corrected plan objectives x4, x10, x20, x40 and x100(oil).

SP-99F

SP-99F

Price: £4,812.50 (Excluding VAT at 20%)

The Brunel SP99F is a modern bright field transmission and incident fluorescence inverted microscope, finished to a high standard. The large mechanical stage will accept most types of laboratory apparatus, and the condenser assembly can be removed from the optical-path for particularly tall objects. The SP99F is equipped with long working distance plan objectives and plan phase contrast objectives. Offering a magnification range of x50 to x400. Objectives - Plan long working: x10, x20, and x40 - infinity tube length, with x5 as an optional accessory. Plan phase contrast: x10, x20 and x40 - infinity tube length. Eyepieces - x10 widefield. Condenser - the long working distance condenser with a Zernicke phase contrast system has a working distance of 50mm. A notable feature of the SP99F is the very large mechanical stage with long drop down movement controls. The potential specimen vessels for this type of microscope is very varied and the mechanical stage arrangement has been designed as an attachment that can be removed in order to accommodate unusual sized specimen equipment. The SP99F has low position coaxial coarse and fine focus controls with inbuilt tension adjustment and variable safety stop. The fine focus control is graduated in 2 micron units as an indicator of depth. The SP99F has a side camera port for the attachment of CCTV and still image cameras.

Brunel RX30F

Brunel RX30F

Price: £5,445.00 (Excluding VAT at 20%)

The RX30F includes a new generation of infinity colour corrected optical system with widefield high eyepoint eyepieces in a new rotating eyetube designed head. The eyetubes can be rotated through 360° which allows the observation position to be increased by 34mm if preferred. The interocular distance can be varied between 50 and 75mm. The RX30F has objectives that have been developed to provide much improved relief, contrast and resolution. LPLAN-FLUOR - these are infinity plan semi-apochromatic fluorescence objectives with a high numerical aperture. As standard the RX30F has x5, x10, x20, x40 and x100 (oil immersion) objectives. The fluorescence cubes use superior quality filters that include bandpass barrier filters that reduce colour bleeding significantly. The fluorescence filter blocks are housed in a switching mechanism. The RX30F has three fluorescence channels and a single bright field channel.

Brunel SP105F

Brunel SP105F

Price: £8,525.00 (Excluding VAT at 20%)

The Brunel SP-105F is our ‘flag ship’ inverted fluorescence microscope that produces a superior microscopic image, providing an outstanding performance and great value for money. The fluorescence cubes use superior quality filters that include bandpass barrier filters that reduce colour bleeding significantly. The SP105F represents a new generation of infinity colour corrected optical systems with widefield high eyepoint eyepieces and plan achromatic objectives, The microscope body has an ergonomic design and the optical system has a notable long working distance. Three series of objectives are available with the SP105F and the exact configuration can be chosen to suit the application. LPLAN - long working distance plan colour corrected objectives specifically designed for living cell cultures that also have a good performance with fluorescence observation. LPAN PH - long working distance infinity phase contrast objectives. In addition to good bright field observation these objectives have been developed to show much improved relief, image contrast and resolution. LPLAN-FLUOR - these are infinity plan semi-apochromatic fluorescence objectives with a high numerical aperature and excellent aberration correction. The objectives have wideband multicoating technology. LPLAN-FLPH - infinity plan semi-apochromatic phase contrast fluorescence objectives that give excellent results with bright field, phase contrast and fluorescence.
