The Zeiss standard 14 in good condition is increasingly difficult to find these days. This one is all original apart from the transformer box which is new and meets safety standards. As would be expected the stage does show some evidence of slides being added and removed but apart from that it is in very good condition and with an exceptional optical configuration. Original Zeiss objectives; x4 neofluar (0.20), plan apo x10 (0.32), plan apo x25 (0.65), neofluar x40 (0.75), x100 oil immersion lens with coverslip thickness correction. x12.5 wide field eyepieces suitable for spectacle wearers. Kohler illumination with substage iris diaphragm. Low position coaxial coarse and fine focus controls. A fine microscope by any standards.
