Reichert dark ground condensers are not easy to come by these days, and oil for x100 objectives are getting as rare as 'hen's teeth'. This unit is in excellent condition and has a dovetail fitting which is standard for the Zetopan and other models.

This is an excellent example of our Mk 1 dual flexible arm LED light source. These have been and still are very popular indeed, being far more cost effective than actual fibre optic units. The flexible arms carry the electrical wires for the LED units which are on the end of each arm which gives illumination as good as a 100 watt fibre optic unit. Both arms are controlled centrally by and on/off switch and brightness control. Condition excellent.

This is as good as a ring light can get. This Brunel ring light will fit all our zoom stereomicroscopes with the appropriate adapter. It may also fit other makes providing the stereohead has a parallel sided cowling and is less than 65mm in diameter. The unit consists of a fluorescent circular strip light which attaches to the bottom of the stereohead. The ring light is 240v with an on/off switch and provides excellent vertical illumination that is softer than LED lighting. This is a new product used only for our assessment purposes.

In very good condition, this is the Meiji 150 watt fibre optic ring light. The 21 volt 150 watt light source delivers high intensity cold light illumination. Colour temperature at maximum intensity is 3250 degrees Kelvin. The base incorporates an easy release lamp change mechanism and a filter holder. Fibre optic light units are still the best way to get high intensity illumination. This is an LED unit which delivers light intensity far greater that the standard halogen systems The light emission here is better than the equivalent halogen system of 150 watts. This unit is a fluorescence ring light for a stereomicroscope that produces a 'softer' lighting effect than the current LED ring light alternatives. Simple on/off switch and we have replacement strip lights - if needed.

This is a traditional equal arm balance that is in excellent condition. It has the usual front cover that can be raised and lowered as needed..
