This unit has been used by ourselves for customer demonstrations. The SP110M Series are extremely versatile metallurgical microscopes. The pole stand and base arrangement allows large surface areas as well as very thick materials to be examined. These are ideal instruments for the inspection of surfaces of all types and electronic circuit boards for example. It is also extremely effective for specimen measurement. The SP110BD can toggle between bright and dark field observation simply, by a push/pull lever. Similarly polarisation filters can be introduced to the optical path, and the polarising filter can be rotated through 360° via a thumb wheel arrangement. Objectives x5, x10, x20 and x50, with x10 wide field eyepieces. A massive saving

This is a microscope used only by ourselves to assess as potentially a new addition to our range. Suffice to say we are very impressed with its quality and will be adding it to our range very shortly. This is a trinocular microscope which shares the image between the binocular head and the trinocular tube. The objectives are excellent infinity corrected plan objectives x4, x10, x20, x40 and x100 oil immersion. Super wide field eyepieces x10 are suitable for spectacle wearers. The mechanical stage is particularly impressive and will allow two slides to be placed one behind another and then both viewed directly. Coaxial coarse and fine focus system. Additionally there is a digital screen to the front of the base which shows the magnification of the objective in use together with the colour temperature of the light . Kohler LED illumination. A superb state of the art microscope

This is a Meiji ML series with both transmitted and incident light sources making it suitable for both biological slides and also the study of opaque surfaces such as metals etc. It has the light sources controlled independently. The transmitted system is integral to the base and is 6v 20 watt with a full Kohler light path with filed and substage iris diaphragms. The incident lighting is from a separate 6v 20 watt transformer box There are semi plan Meiji objectives x4, x10, x40 and x100 (oil immersion) and a new x20 plan objective that is parfocal with the other objectives. x10 extra wide field Meiji eyepieces. Unusually the microscope has both binocular and trinocular heads that are easily interchangeable. Its general condition is very good with the only negative being that the trinocular head has a few small paint chips and was obviously added at some stage from the used market. Polarising filters are present for both light paths. Great value for a quality microscope.
